How to use our Clearing call-back service
We know that going through Clearing can be a confusing, busy and overhwelming time - that's why our Clearing Call-back service is designed to take some of the weight off your shoulders. Rather than making a dozen phone calls, all you have to do is fill in a quick form and we'll do the rest.

Step 1 - Decide which course you're interested in
Take a look at our Clearing vacancies and find the course that's the best fit for you.
At UC Sheffield all of our courses are designed to be career driven and hands-on, so that you can build up your practical skills as well as your theoretical knowledge no matter which subject you choose. Plus with qualifications in a range of subjects, from bakery to engineering, and music to animal care, there's something for everyone.
Step 2 - Give us your details
Once you know which course you're interested in, head to our Clearing call-back page and fill in our super quick contact form. All we need is your name, email address, phone number and the name of the course you're intrested in, that's it!
After we receive your form, a member of our UC Sheffield Team will call you back within an hour to discuss your interest in the course.
Step 3 - Chat with our UC Sheffield Team
During the phone call, our UC Sheffield staff member will ask your about why you're interesed in the course, your grades and qualifications and any other relevant experience you might have.
They're not trying to trip you up, their aim is simply to make sure that the course is a good fit for you so that you can succeed!
Step 4 - Add your Clearing choice to your UCAS application
Once our UC Sheffield Team have confirmed over the phone that you can apply for your chosen course, you'll need to make it official on UCAS. If you've already applied earlier in the cycle, make sure you have no current offers (you'll need to decline any that you might already be holding) before adding your UC Sheffield choice.
If you haven't applied already, you'll need to make a brand-new application on UCAS before you can add a course through Clearing.
Step 5 - Attend your enrolment appointment
After you've added your Clearing choice to your UCAS application, our Admissions Team will formally accept you onto the course and issue you with a date to come in and enrol - this is the bit where we make you an official UC Sheffield student!
All that's left to do after that is to apply for any students funding and support you may need, and start getting excited about starting your university journey with us!
